Relationship

Healing broken relationships is a key component to true recovery from addiction. A broken relationship with God inevitably leads to a broken relationship with people. Broken relationships with God and people are almost always at the root of addiction. Isaiah House seeks to help men identify their broken relationships, understand why they are broken, and facilitate the process of healing and developing healthy relationships.

Edification

People must be regularly encouraged and taught in order for them to truly develop into a healthy, whole person. The Isaiah House seeks to encourage men in their life and teach them about their addiction and how to overcome it. Men are also taught about Christ with a Bible based curriculum and use this as a key aspect of their recovery – discovering who God made them to be and how they can live a life of freedom.

 Acceptance

We live in a performance based society. If you succeed and excel you are loved and accepted. If you fail, you are rejected. At the Isaiah House, we teach men that they are truly accepted and loved by God. While we sometimes fail, our staff also seeks to accept men wherever they are in life, despite their imperfections. When these truths are understood they can then begin to accept themselves in a healthy way, as well as grant acceptance to others

 Love

One of the greatest foundational truths of existence is that God loves us. However, if we do not accurately or completely understand this truth, it distorts how we love others and ourselves. People must learn to love and be loved in order to find freedom from addiction.
