As the Vice Chairman and Treasurer of the Isaiah House Board of Directors, Daryl Carlson stands as a beacon of leadership, guiding the organization with wisdom and integrity.
Professionally, Daryl serves as a benefits advisor at McGriff in Lexington, Kentucky, where his expertise and insight positively impact the lives of many. However, Daryl’s contributions extend far beyond the confines of his professional role. He has lent his time and expertise to various boards and committees, including several church boards and the Visually Impaired Pre-school Services. Currently, Daryl serves as a board member of insurance-related non-profit organizations, furthering his mission to make a difference in the community. Additionally, he volunteers his time at Circles in Lexington and Transform Scott County.
Daryl’s personal life is a testament to his enduring commitment to family. He is the loving husband of Tammy Carlson. Together, they have raised three sons and are blessed with seven grandchildren, who bring boundless joy and happiness into their lives. On the baseball field, Daryl’s passion for coaching shines brightly as he mentors and guides 7 and 8-year-olds, instilling in them not only the skills of the game but also the values of teamwork and sportsmanship.
Originally from Illinois, Daryl and Tammy have called Nicholasville home for over three decades, where they have woven the fabric of a vibrant and thriving community. Daryl finds solace and joy in various pursuits, including golf, exploring the latest in technology, and delving into Christian and historical literature. Above all, he treasures the simple pleasure of spending time with his family and getting to know people from all walks of life.
