Drug Abuse Treatment Center serving Marion, KY

Rehab Center serving Crown

If you have a friend or loved one that is struggling and is in need of drug abuse treatment. We know that it can be hard to watch someone that you care about go through such a difficult time in their life. Despite how it happened or what was said or even if you or your loved one is on board with getting treatment or not. The truth is that when someone develops a drug addiction that it may start as a choice but drug addiction creates a dependency within the brain that can’t be broken without help.

At the Isaiah House we believe that Drug Abuse Treatment needs to start on a personal level first. Before you treat the symptoms that come from drug abuse, you must first treat the individual.

The process of getting clean and staying clean isn’t done in a day or over a weekend. That is why we help people to develop proven strategies to cope with their addiction and group therapy to deal with the problems that led them to turn to drugs in the first place.

Drug abuse treatment isn’t always easy but it is always worth it. At Isaiah House we start our treatment program by creating a plan that best suits each individual. Regardless of whether a person’s addiction is to drugs or alcohol, we believe that the best treatment is based on the experience and background of each person.

We have noticed that families and friends often refer to their loved ones in terms that are often very offensive to someone who struggles with addiction. They often don’t even realize that these terms have a negative connotation to them. It’s just that those are the only terms they have ever heard. That is why we wanted to provide this PDF to share substitution phrases you can use to be more supportive to your friends and family that are struggling during this time.

Some signs of addiction are a lack of control, and an inability to stay away from a substance or behavior. Other signs of drug abuse are decreased socialization, the abandoning of commitments or ignoring relationships. Many people struggling with ignoring risk factors, like sharing needles despite knowing the potential hazards that come with these actions.

It’s hard for all of us to admit when we make a mistake or do something wrong. So, when someone is struggling with substance abuse I think we can all understand how difficult it can be to admit that you have a problem.

Our licensed therapists and counselors are available to talk to individuals and families to discuss your specific situation. This will help us to give you a recommended plan for recovery. Whether that means meeting with an accountability group on a regular basis or if a complete residential recovery program would be best. Every individual is unique and will need to be evaluated on a case by case basis. The first step in recovery is Detox. This is the process of helping someone with an addiction cope with the withdrawals that they will go through until the drugs are completely out of their system. Some drugs can be dangerous to get off of and may require medical assistance. Always be sure to seek the advice of a Dr. before stopping the use of any drug.
