Isaiah House Approved as HRSA STAR LRP Site, Unlocking Student Loan Repayment for Licensed Staff
New designation strengthens recruitment, retention, and access to high-quality, Christ-centered addiction recovery services in Kentucky
HARRODSBURG, KY (June 16th, 2025) – Isaiah House Treatment Center has been officially approved as a STAR LRP (Substance Use Disorder Treatment and Recovery Loan Repayment Program) site by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), opening the door for eligible staff to receive up to $250,000 in student loan repayment.
“This approval is a significant achievement that recognizes our ongoing commitment to providing high-quality care, supporting our staff and expanding access to critical services in our community,” said Jennifer Hamilton, Chief Human Resources Officer at Isaiah House. “The STAR designation also provides valuable opportunities for eligible licensed staff to participate in federal student loan repayment programs, while further strengthening our ability to recruit and retain top talent.”
Through STAR LRP, eligible staff members who provide direct treatment or recovery support to patients with substance use disorders can apply for loan repayment in exchange for a six-year service commitment at an approved facility.
Roles that may qualify include physicians, counselors, social workers, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, and many more.
The STAR designation represents a meaningful investment in both the future of Isaiah House staff and the clients they serve. By participating in this federal program, Isaiah House continues to strengthen its mission of offering real hope for addiction and long-term recovery through comprehensive, Christ-centered care.
