Isaiah House Receives $20,000 Donation and Volunteer Support from Vulcan Materials Company Foundation

HARRODSBURG, KY (November 17, 2025) – Isaiah House, Inc. is proud to announce it has received a $20,000 donation from the Vulcan Materials Company Foundation in support of its mission to provide Christ-centered addiction recovery and life transformation services throughout Kentucky.
In addition to the generous financial contribution, Vulcan Materials Company employees volunteered their time and talents during a two-day service project at Isaiah House. The volunteer team assembled care packages, served meals, and helped build Isaiah House’s Christmas Parade float — all efforts that made a direct and meaningful impact on clients and staff alike.
As part of their commitment to community health and safety, Vulcan Materials Company also donated medical gloves, masks, and hand sanitizer, helping Isaiah House maintain high standards of care across its programs and facilities.
“We are incredibly grateful for Vulcan Materials Company Foundation’s generosity and for the hands-on involvement of their employees,” said Kara Ball, Chief Development & Communications Officer at Isaiah House. “Their support goes far beyond a financial gift, it represents true partnership and compassion in action. Every care package packed, every hug, and every contribution made helps remind our clients that they are valued and supported by their community.”
The partnership between Vulcan Materials Company Foundation and Isaiah House reflects a shared commitment to building stronger, healthier communities. This collaboration not only enhances the resources available to those in recovery but also serves as a powerful example of corporate responsibility and community engagement.
Founded in 1999, Isaiah House began as a small, Christ-centered recovery program in central Kentucky and has since grown into one of the state’s leading providers of long-term addiction treatment. What started with a single house has expanded into multiple campuses and transitional living facilities, offering comprehensive, whole-person care that combines evidence-based treatment, spiritual guidance, workforce development, and family restoration. Over the years, Isaiah House has helped thousands of men and women find lasting recovery and renewed purpose.

“Slowly, I Return”

I lost myself in noise and speed,

I don’t arrive in grand display,
I show up gently, day by day.
A breath, a step, a choice to stay —
That’s how I find my healing way.

No need for loud, no need for race,
Just learning how to hold my space.
And every time I chose to learn,
A part of me begins to turn.
