Jordan Dongell

Board Member

Jordan Dongell’s journey is one of purpose, passion, and a deep commitment to serving others. As a member of the Isaiah House Board of Directors and a board member of First Alliance Church, he channels his values of compassion and faith into making a positive impact on both the spiritual and practical needs of his community.

Growing up in Wilmore, Kentucky, Jordan’s roots run deep in the heart of the Bluegrass State. His academic journey led him to Asbury University, where he earned his undergraduate degree before pursuing a JD from Wake Forest. Upon completing his education, Jordan returned to his hometown of Lexington to practice law.

For six years, Jordan litigated cases with dedication and skill. However, he soon realized that his true calling lay in a role where he could directly impact and educate people to make a difference in their lives. This realization led him to transition to the role of financial advisor at Thrivent, where he found a perfect fit for his desire to help others achieve financial success while aligning with a biblical vision of money and wealth.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Jordan is a devoted husband to Heather Dongell and father to two daughters.

As a member of the Isaiah House Board of Directors, Jordan’s leadership and dedication are instrumental in advancing their missions of compassion, support, and spiritual guidance.
