His voyage with Isaiah House began with a simple desire to give back, offering his time and skills to support those in need. Ronnie’s genuine empathy and unwavering dedication soon caught the attention of the leadership, leading him to assume the role of Board Chaplain, where he provided spiritual guidance and solace to both residents and staff alike.

Despite his elevated position, Ronnie remains deeply rooted in the ethos of volunteerism, actively engaging with Isaiah House on a weekly basis. Whether it’s teaching valuable skills or leading structured activities, he tirelessly endeavors to uplift and empower those around him, embodying the essence of servant leadership.

Beyond his contributions to Isaiah House, Ronnie finds fulfillment and joy in his role as a loving husband to Tammy Ping, with whom he shares a remarkable journey of almost 50 years. Together they have raised two sons.

Prior to his retirement, Ronnie served as a beacon of faith and compassion in his professional endeavors, holding positions in Missions and Pastoral Care at Southside Christian Church. His impact extended far beyond the walls of the church, touching the lives of countless individuals through his ministry of compassion and understanding.
