Walking in the door of a treatment center for the first time is one of the greatest accomplishments in the life of someone struggling with addiction. Unfortunately, most only take that step after reaching a bottom spiritually, physically, and financially.
More than half of our clients arrive homeless either living in a shelter, on the street, or sleeping on someone’s couch. Every day, we accept clients with few clothes, sometimes without even shoes. They often have physical needs such as eyeglasses and dentures that are vital to pursuing a productive, sober life. Many need to develop job skills and further their education so they can support themselves and their families.

The Hope & Healing Fund at Isaiah House exists to ensure that no one is turned away when they are ready to reclaim their life from addiction. This dedicated fund provides comprehensive financial assistance to cover the essential costs of treatment, removing barriers that often stand between individuals and recovery.
What the Fund Covers:
The Hope & Healing Fund supports every aspect of a client’s recovery journey, including:
- Residential Treatment: Safe, structured housing during recovery, including nutritious meals and daily essentials
- Basic Needs: Clothing, toiletries, and personal care items that restore dignity and security
- Therapies: Individual counseling, group therapy, and evidence-based treatment programs addressing the root causes of addiction
- Medications: Life-saving prescriptions necessary for detox, stabilization, and ongoing health management
- Employment Support: Assistance obtaining essential documents required for employment (e.g., identification, birth certificates, certifications)
- Holistic Care: Life skills training, spiritual guidance, and vocational programs that empower clients to build sustainable recovery
Eligibility:
Funding through the Hope & Healing Fund is prioritized for individuals who:
- Have no funding source
- Are uninsured
- Are not eligible for Medicaid
- Are not eligible for grant funding through UNITE or KORE
Eligibility and priority are determined by evaluating each individual’s financial need and readiness to engage in treatment.

LBJ Eadens Access Fund
Honor lives lost by helping others live.
Your donation ensures no one is denied essential medications for recovery and health.
Named in honor of Larry Blackford Jr. and Jim “Allen” Eadens, who both courageously fought addiction but ultimately lost their lives, the LBJ Eadens Access Fund carries their legacy forward by helping others access critical medications. This fund exists because no one should have to choose between recovery and essential treatment.
What It Covers:
Your donation helps provide:
- Prescription medications necessary for detox, stabilization, and chronic health conditions
- Copay assistance for clients unable to afford their prescriptions
- Support for managing diseases that often accompany addiction, including hypertension, diabetes, and COPD
Eligibility:
- Clients must meet WIC income guidelines (verified at registration)
- Priority is given to those with the most severe health needs
Approval Process:
- Requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis by Antonio Booker, Director of Pharmacy
- A monthly funding cap of $1,000 ensures the fund remains sustainable and available to those who need it most
- Copays are tracked through pharmacy software and reimbursed regularly
